until she realizes that good behaviour is getting her nowhere: her life is falling
apart because she has never dared to be bad enough. "Sparky," according to Marie Claire magazine,
with shades of Fay Weldon and Alice Hoffman.

Hot Gossip is a friendly satire about the people who work on London's national newspaper
gossip columns. It was Heinemann/Mandarin's lead title for August 1994, and Options magazine
called it "Jolly cheeky and very funny" Inspired by Nigel Dempster and his team, it was written
as entertainment rather than literature.

Idol Chatter is the sequel to Hot Gossip, with the same characters
involved in a light-hearted romp with the movie crowd and publicity-seekers at the Cannes Film Festival.
